Out of curiosity - in your opinion how do these two lenses compare regarding image quality?
The 600 has very good contrast, and that's about the only feature where it scores higher than the Sigma, in my experience. AF is fast and precise with both lenses, but I find that the Sigma has better rendering of detail, and responds better to stopping down beyond f/5.6 if you have to.
