I just received an email from Don Nelson, the founder of the NPW, that he plans on attending - probably for the final time - this year. He said the same thing last year, but his health hasn't been good since his bout with Lymphoma a few years back so this might really be his last appearance at the event. Don is a now-retired former Pentax rep who has shown kindness far above and beyond the call of duty to many of us on The List over the years. He was instrumental in getting the List turned over to Doug Brewer when Pentax decided to farm it out. He was the guy who was able to get a pre-production sample of the ist-D, Pentax's first DSLR, into the hands of Doug and myself and a few others before anyone else outside a couple of review sites.
