I know people look at the gallery when it's uploaded because I put a hit
counter on the page last year and plotted the hits on a graph (well,
everyone needs a hobby....). This showed a distinct spike in views on the
day it is uploaded.

It would be nice if there were a few more comments on the submissions -
even just mentioning a couple of favourites - but I guess the main thing is

Terrific gallery as always. Not a dud in the bunch. So hard to pick a
favourite but if pressed I think Steve's railroad tracks in the snow would
be the one. Used to live in Kitchener. That's about what it looks like. ;-)

I really like Matthew's 'Thunderstorm, Badlands National Park' and in

* Max. pixel dimensions: 800 x 800 pixels
* Max file size: 300k
* Third party equipment is acceptable provided either the camera body

ensure that the image is displayed correctly on line.
* Nominal closing date for submissions: 30 April.
