Nothing to see here, but go look anyway...
This was about 2 minutes with the Fuji outside my enabler's store. I
found the out of camera images to be a little dark and a little flat,
but I had done absolutely nothing to the camera's adjustments either.
The top shot was at a middling aperture where I figured the lens should
perform more or less at it's best.
I think it's a pretty good indication of just how razor sharp the 35/1.4
lens is.
The middle picture was shot wide open to check out of focus rendering.
I'm very happy with both how sharp the lens is wide open, and how it
renders out of focus areas.
The bottom picture was to get some sort of idea regarding how the camera
handles high ISO (6400 in this case).
Note the images were resized to 30%, I did tweak them in Photoshop
including a (perhaps heavy handed) USM of 100%, 1 pixel. The sharpening
certainly did some odd stuff to the slightly out of focus areas on the
second picture. Interestingly, the middle picture almost looks to me
like a flash picture, though no flash was used. One of the things I like
about the Fuji is that there is no built in flash.
Anyway, enjoy, or not as you wish.

Now if winter would only stop hanging on like a turd on a dog's bum,
life would be good.
