Denver, huh? Pentax's offices are in Denver...you can walk-in gear for repairs and CLAs. At one time, you used to also be able to buy what was called "class 2" stuff there as well... essentially stuff that was factory refurbished at a fraction of retail. In the mid 80's, I bought a 300/2.8 and 400/2.8 that way... only set me back a little more than $2000 for the pair! Don't know if they still sell stuff that way, but it may be worth checking out...

So I'm planning for a big move from Atlanta to the Rocky Mountains. On the positive side I will have a whole bunch of new photo opportunities on the minus I guess I won't be getting any new gear for a little while(sigh) I bet the 67 could do wonders with the Rockies. I know this has very little to do with Pentax so I will stop now, I'm just very happy. Evan - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
