If the adaptor/lens combo is not mounted and or stuck on a camera, it
should be possible to remove the adaptor from the rear of the lens - but
it may only be possible to do this by destroying the adaptor.

The key is finding where the 'sticking point' is. If you can borrow or
acquire another adaptor, then it should be possible to look at the
mating surface, along with the rear of a different lens and compare
possible surface topography that would indicate where the problem lays,
and what to do about it.

If you're not 'engineer minded' then perhaps get an engineer to have a
look at the above objects - he/she will be able to figure it all out and
yes - it may well be that a carefully placed Dremel cut or cuts could be
the answer.
