and the de-boxing experience. But do look carefully at every piece to
ensure you really receive brand new stuff.
And check out the Shutter count + manufacturing date + the version #
+ Pentax -Ricoh or Pentax Hoya model + Body Serial #.
You might also check out if the camera is already registered with
Pentax? Yes seriously, this was the experience of a Canon Pro
Photographer who purchased his FF Canon from a pretty well known Hong
Kong stores.

Except that Hong Kong store apologized and replaced the camera right
away upon being informed of the situation. I can accept the camera was
sent to him in error, and the vendor did the right thing to correct it.

I was shattered when B&H sold me a brand new K20D in early 2009 with a
shutter count of over 600 actuations.
