Haha, that's great. Fake Mick is in his puffy shirt, and Fake Dave is in his presumably swishy coat. I remember thinking how daggy it was when it came on Live Aid. Put me off Stones and Bowie for years

Man. I just shot my first big concert with the K5 and it was a blast. While the auto-focus in a rock-concert environment (especially with tons of backlighting) is still iffy... there were no problems with the exposure. And if I muffed the exposure (at least on the dark side of things) all I had to do was grab the "exposure" slider in Lightroom and - problem solved. No bright colored sparkles of noise, just a nice smooth "film grain" look. It's really great to be able to pull actual details out of the shadows! Example shot from last night: http://charles.robinsontwins.org/photos/2013/rebel_rebel_x/content/K5__2005_large.html (they are doing a cover of the horrible mess that is the Jagger/Bowie version of "Dancing In The Streets") It's difficult to imagine what will be available in 3 years (if Pentax is still in business)! -Charles -- Charles Robinson - charl...@visi.com Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org http://www.facebook.com/charles.robinson
