As far as I can tell, the Canon G series, the Nikon 7100 & (some models)
Nikon 1 are the only point 'n shoot cameras still made with an eye-level
viewfinder.
If at all possible you should try to test the eye level finder in a P&S.
I have a NIkon CoolPix P6000 and the eye level finder was a major factor
I considered in buying it (4 years ago now). But - it matches the actual
image crop so poorly and distorts so badly it is virtually useless.
