It was more to get an impression of how film vs. digital B&W looks to the end user/viewer. Is the 'feeling' you get looking at the 2 images the same or somehow different because it is film? If you were to crop them to same view then you could use those to get opinions. Gerrit

You might take more or less the same shots with this lens on a film and digital, or alternatively use a 24 mm (which I have) on digital, to get more or less the same field of view. I'm not sure I could get exactly the same perspective from two shots in a row, though. Perhaps if using a tripod, but I'd probably manage to change the setup slightly even then :-/ - Toralf > > Gerrit > > -----Original Message----- > From: PDML [mailto:pdml-boun...@pdml.net] On Behalf Of Toralf Lund > Sent: Sunday, August 4, 2013 11:04 AM > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List > Subject: GESO - Monochrome Summer > > Some more from my recent experiments with a DA-35/2.4 AL, on a "film" > camera: > > http://se.toralf.net/post/57242528169/monochrome-summer > > You may wish to note that these shots are essentially uncropped; I've > trimmed the images every so slightly where the scanner left skewed or > jagged edges, but that's it.
