Reading the subject line here, I had no idea it harkened back to one

I had a lot of fun showing them around - and I love the "beat"
tour guide line. I lived in Alphabet City back in the day and
while I never met Kerouac, a friend of mine was married to his daughter.

I hardly took any photos because I let spare battery at home by mistake. I was able to coax a few snaps out of my fading one...

Collin's wife Virgina is sweet and a real trouper.  Looking
forward to seeing the photos from them.
