I've found a noticeable difference in frame size between the Mamiya
RB67 and the Pentax 6x7. The Pentax's frame is slightly shorter and
slightly wider, giving a more rectangular aspect ratio. We're only
talking a couple of millimetres at most but it is noticeable,
especially when scanning or mounting the slides.

I think 24x36mm is something of a standard for 35mm cameras.

My biggest problem is getting the horizon unstraight. I always
shoot primes at the moment, so I don't tend to have very fine control
of my framing.
