Hi Alastair, Thanks for your question. Our own Mark Roberts addresses this issue: http://www.robertstech.com/flange.htm I followed his advice and had that part machined so, yes, it works perfectly on Pentax DSLRs. I have not bothered to blacken the machined edge.
Images of the lens can be seen in the Pentax Forums Marketplace ad, which is now up: http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/photographic-equipment-sale/239939-sale-1st-time-marketplace-vivitar-series-1-90-180mm-flat-field-pk-macro.html Respectfully, Darren On Thu, Oct 17, 2013 at 3:37 PM, Alastair Robertson <kiwibiolog...@gmail.com> wrote: > Darren > > can you comment on this post > http://www.photography-forums.com/vivitar-series-one-90-180-4-5-flat-field-macro-and-pentax-k10d-t83670.html > Does it mount on a K10 or K5? > > Alastair > > On 18 October 2013 07:13, Darren Addy <pixelsmi...@gmail.com> wrote: >> I appreciate the feedback, Bob. >> Alright, I'll start the price at $450 and come down to $399 if I need >> to, in time. >> :) >> >> On Thu, Oct 17, 2013 at 1:05 PM, Bob Sullivan <rf.sulli...@gmail.com> wrote: >>> Darren, >>> That's too low a price! >>> I'd snap it up if I didn't already have a copy here somewhere. >>> The quality is legendary for a Macro and the zoom makes it outstanding. >>> It was one of the first lenses I lusted after some 20 years ago. >>> Regards, Bob S. >>> >>> On Thu, Oct 17, 2013 at 9:17 AM, Darren Addy <pixelsmi...@gmail.com> wrote: >>>> I will be on the road tomorrow, so I hope you will permit me to post >>>> this a day earlier than normal.
