The sentiment has probably been expressed, but with the last upgrade to the K3 I see no serious cause to switch. With that I would ask how format could be any concern. 24Mp on APS-C differs little from 24Mp in 135 form factor. There may be technical reasons to change for some professionals, but for most there is no real diff. Of course if I were shooting pro the 7r would be in the running. D800 along-side. Why not Canon? For the most part, the pros I know use Nikon because it is built to get the job done. At least that is the common opinion around here.
