Bruce, As you're talking about the sharpness of this combination, here's a sample.
It's today's sunset with the K-3 and DA55/1.4 http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=17647954 and a 100% crop from the middle of the image. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=17647955 K-3 continues to amaze with 6000x4000 pixel images.
