Well, you got a couple in flight. So you  succeeded some.

Marnie aka Doe :-)   I tend to not like  wildlife on manicured lawn/garden 
backgrounds, looks unnatural. Although that is  the way I have gotten most 
of my deer shots. Heh.

These little birds are quite pleasant to watch as they skim along  just 
above the grass eating insects on the wing.  But they change direction  
suddenly and  often.
