Purrr! The domestic tabby markings have become more refined over the
centuries. Selection, I suppose. The African wild cat markings, while
resembling tabby markings, tend to be more haphazard & blotchy. Also
brownish rather that grey. A lot of domestic cats around here are half
African wild cat because domestic Queens mate with wild Toms on their
evening jaunts.
