Considering that a AF-280T costs about $150 new, is it worthwhile
to buy a used one in excellent condition for about $90?

Also, stupid newbie question- how does one tell whether a flash
can communicate w/ the camera's hotshoe? I have a Minolta flash
that my Dad was using w/ his Spotmatic via a PC cable connection on
the body- it fires in 125X flash sync mode with my Super A but without
any metering info. While I highly doubt that this flash can communicate
with the Super A, I just thought I'd ask.

I'm getting the AF-280T anyway, just a matter of whether to buy new
or used.
