f/8 to f/9 is more like a third of a stop, but the difference in bokeh seems subjectively like at least a couple of stops, so i suspect (as it seems you do) that one of the lenses' apertures is not functioning to spec


When it comes to rendering the soft edges with the K are much smoother.
The F50/1.7's edges are much softer, almost having that double-image
appearance.
I think the K wins in this regard.

that was hard for me to see on your shots, and i wonder if it is down to the uncertain aperture
