Slashdot used to be pretty good. Once they sold the site it started to slide. I don't think its a fault of the authors, but the readership hit a sort of critical mass, where most of them are quite immanture. It's my homepage, and I quite enjoy the stuff they post about lego, it does happen fairly often. Amy did post on that /. thread.
