Hello Andy, I would also highly recommend the Tokina 28-70/2.6-2.8 ATX Pro II or the newer Tokina 28-80 2.8 AF ATX PRO that I own. I am crazy about it. The only other good choices you've got are the Pentax FA 28-70 f4 or if $ is no issue the Pentax FA 28-70 f2.8. But for the money, I would say go with Tokina. For me, f4 is too slow for any lens under 200 or 300mm, zoom or prime.
