The alternative is camera that shoots 4K video in such a format that allows to extract 1 frame in its full quality. Since 4K resolution is about 8 megapixels such a frame could be sufficient :-).

I've spent last two days taking pictures of my younger daughter... Let's say that either I should admit that sharp focus is overrated, or may be I would want to conclude that she's a little hummingbird... And that while she was willingly facing me, of course...
