Thanks, Bob. I planted these very early this year, and they are still
thriving. Often, but this stage of spring, they have faded or been
crowded out by the petunias and portulacas I plant between them.

This is actually just a test image of my new (to me) K-5IIS. So far,
I really like the controls and the mechanics of the camera. I like
the way the batters over closes firmly and opens easily, unlike my K-r
and *istD. I also like the button one has to press to change the
camera mode. With my older cameras, I would often switch modes
inadvertently while gripping the camera to crawl into position or
climb a step ladder to reach the right spot for a macro.

Although I like the feel and operation of the K-5IIS, I am a bit
disappointed. I spent all that money on another camera, and my photos
still suck. It must be the lenses. I guess I just have to by a more
expensive lens.
