That's a very effective description of what you are going through -
really makes it clear how different situations are for different people
on the list. I hope you and you family remain safe throughout this
situation.

Hello.
Below is the statement of the fact. It is not my intent to convey any
emotional sub-text whatsoever. Times are approximate, except the very
first one.
* 5:50 - my alarm clock rings; I swipe it to silence. I decide to
linger in bed a bit longer.
* 6:00 - Julia wakes up and starts her morning routine
* 6:10 - we hear rocket alarm, I jump out of bed. Julia grabs the kids
and heads to the stairway of our house. According to rear command, we
have 90 seconds to get to safety. This gives me time to pull on my
yesterday's t-shirt and trousers. We climb down two stories, it seems
that everyone in our building (4 story, 40 years old) agree that the
area between the first and second floor is the safest. First floor is
one immediately above the ground floor. We're alone as no one is awake
at this time of day.
* 6:15 - we hear some booms. It is interceptor rockets handy work.
Anat is counting.
* 6:20 - I suggest we return. Girls start to stand up as they were
sitting on the floor. We hear another rocket alarm. The girls return
to sitting on the floor.
* 6:25 - We hear some more booms. Anat keeps her count. The doors
around us start to open as our neighbors drag themselves out of bed.
Few minutes later we return home to start our day.
Now comes the emotional part. It's been about a week since this has
started. Only one list member, blessed be his name, has written to me
off the list. Frankly, your silence is deafening...
Carry on.
Boris
