Thanks to you all for the comments. Yes, we did have a wonderful W/E with
far above average sightings. My wife, Ann, took a lot with her Fuji
Super-zoom too. Some are so good it makes one wonder about the need for a
DSLR!
Ann - a love scene - the female hyaena was feeding it's 4 pups. There were 5
rhinos at Ntananyathi dam with quite an argy-bargy going on. Kruger is busy
moving rhinos to safer locations to try & curb the poaching activities. In
spite of a huge ranger & military effort, the poachers are still killing
3/day & the death rate now exceeds the birth rate.
Dave & John - it was my 20th Skukuza H/M. I used to run it in under 1:30
when I was younger. 2:00 is a self imposed target. I was probably the oldest
runner in the race but, sadly, no prizes for M70's.
