oh, this is disheartening. I'm sorry it hasn't gone as well as it could have. I will lend my voice to those who express hope and strength as you and Marlene deal with her situation. Please don't hesitate to ask if she needs someone to talk to during treatments. In the meantime, keep positive and fight it with everything you have.
