I agree with Paul here... and add .png to the list of good file formats.
Of course if you know you are going to edit them more you wouldn't use
jpg the first save... but you knwo that I'm sure

JPEGs. Irfanview says I can save it as a RAW file, but when I tried that I
haven't been able to find the file.
Am I going to have to scan the whole batch again?
