I don't understand the concept of going out for breakfast, especially a quick one. A couple of my friends say things like
"let's meet at such-and-such a place for breakfast", to which I reply "maybe some other time", which is Bobspeak for "are you completely out of your mind? I'm not going to get up, do my ablutions, dress, stagger out into the cold and rain, schlep along to wherever the hell it is and drink bad coffee while having to talk to someone when I can stay at home, unwashed and undressed, barely moving, and drink good coffee and talk to myself.
