I realize that all these email tests make the PDML look more active
than it really is, but if you'd like to make the list a little more
interesting you could email actual content or discussion (maybe a
PESO) instead of a "TEST" email. And THEN, to see if it was received
by the list, you could simply check the PDML archive:

http://pdml.net/pipermail/pdml_pdml.net/

Click the "Date" link in the line for the current month and you'll see
if your message hit the list. This archive appears to update almost
immediately. No need to wait for anyone to reply to you for you to
know your "test" worked (or didn't).

As a bonus, you'll look a little less like a technical troglodyte to
the community! thxkbye
