It could be an important cap for a diehard collector, one that must have as close to the original cap as possible for the year of manufacture of the lens he intends to put it on. In that case, it could be seen to be reasonable. I know i don't need one but someone may need one.

It's a much older incarnation of the cap currently available, and of a slightly different design. Yes it performs the same function and yes it is made by the same company, but it has different wording (Asahi optical co as opposed to Pentax), and doesn't have the later lip.
