I use those legs the most, although I still have the Feisol CT3442 Tournament
legs that I bought about 2005-2006. Both are excellent. I've updated the head
on the Manfrotto legs to an Arca-Swiss Monoball P0: for me, nearly the perfect
head for general purpose use.

Over the past several years of experimentation and such, I'd acquired and
played with way, way, !WAY! too much gear, with the result that I now know
exactly what I want to work with—and I already have 99% of that. So I'm now in
the process of selling off the excess … I've sold off $4000 worth of camera
gear in the past six weeks, and I'm just starting to get into the costly
excess. (Another batch of Ebay stuff is going up this evening…)

Aside from the miscellaneous bits and pieces that always seem to crop up, the
only big items on my "wish" list are the Leica M Monochrom typ 246 (just
released, my order is in; I expect to see it by Fall or Christmas) and a
modern, AF lens for the Nikon F6 (haven't decided which one yet; there's no
rush).

…
My "Polaroid SLR670m by MiNT" suffered a bit of a hiccup: the film
transport/processing motor died. I sent it to MiNT in Hong Kong where they
completely overhauled it under warranty, it's just returned home. That plus the
fact that the latest Impossible Project B&W 2.0 film is absolutely terrific
stuff has me shooting a lot of Polaroid again recently. There's just something
terrifically satisfying about Polaroid instant film cameras! Dr. Land would be
smiling… :-)

So in point of fact I've spent as much on film this year as I have on new or
used equipment!
