Several list members have remarked that the final one or two 50/1.4 Takumars were arguably the sharpest/best normal nonmacro lens ever made. Why didn't Pentax stick with this winning formula when it introduced the K mount? Why not bring out a PKA or FA version now and reclaim the title?
