I had exactly the same reaction to the Tate Modern and its exhibits. Although I like most of the modern art at the NY Guggenheim and the MOMA, the stuff in the Tate was way over the top, and in most cases boring. There are two saving graces about the Tate, however: The view of London across the Thames from the cafeteria on the upper level and the fine fish and chips served in the cafeteria.
