Hello John. the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 is a work horse. It is brutally sharp. Worked well on my K-20D and now the K-5 & K-3. I also find it diminutive in size and light weight too. I bought it brand new for $ 419 from B&H when good pre-owened copies were selling for $ 300. You should be able to find a used copy on Amazon Warehouse sale or KEH at a much cheaper price. Regards.
