Thank, Darren
I certainly do remember Sabattier effect -- played around with it in the
very first year I got a darkroom setup -
which didn't happen until about 9 years after I was taking my
photography seriously (I was so afraid I'd mess up
loading film I kept giving my BW stuff to a local custom lab)
It was fun to do - but ultimately I just found it to be anovelty and
paper waster. Have at most 4 or 5 prints
that are sitting around that I didn't trash.
Ashley would NOT be ameowsed with solarization... or fun-house
mirrors. Just like her mommy :-)

Nice B&W rendering. If I had that negative in the darkroom, I would be
tempted to try solarization on it. Anybody remember the "Sabattier
Effect"?

I loved playing with that in my early days of darkroom work.

Her birthday is next week. I grabbed this hand held with the K5 in TAV
mode (the pleasures of which I'm just now discovering, oddly)
ON click wsa all I got before she closed her eyes - always being
concerned I'll use the flash though I seldom do.
