Thanks for the comments Dan, Frank, Jack Ann... Ann, re the "feel" of the beach shots: Someone recently posted a photo on the Facebook Pentaxian group, a shot of a sea-side boardwalk (N.J.?). He did some very striking post-processing that for me really made it a 1950s, 1960s look that just fit the scene. I wasn't trying to reproduce that here, but I did have in mind to try and adjust a few sliders to induce a pastel-like tonality.
