I want to add that yesterday, after having uploaded this image, I noticed what 
must be a band on it's right "ankle."
Actually, this Goldfinch has a more stately presence than any of the numerous 
finches I've photographed.
For sometime I've understood that a Canary is a finch, but unique "branch" 
maybe. Wild Goldfinches, we see here,
have a few black wing feathers. Can't tell if that's true of this canary.(?)
