These images are from my first shoot with local model Araina Nespiak in August. Taken in a borrowed conference space in Mississauga. This was the first real workout with my then brand new 645Z. I used the 90mm f:2.8 macro exclusively, mostly hand-held. All taken with window light enhanced with fill from large white foamcore reflectors. I shot at 800 ISO, fairly wide open apertures (f/2.8 - f/4.0). The shake reduction built into the DFA645 90mm lens is pretty awe inspiring. It has quite a kick at times. When you shoot with unsteady hands, you can hear it hitting the internal end-stops with a loud clunk! and you feel it -- it moves the entire camera in your hands. Does a good job too, as long as you give it a chance with reasonably steady hand-holding. I selected a few odds and ends from the shoot and tried to create a "story" out of them for Zivity. I decided to resurrect my stale account there and try my hand at a submission, just for kicks.
