Well, I'm sure you have seen this FF rumor (purported presentation slide):

If true... a couple of comments:

At first I really wondered about the "645 lens adapter". Then I
realized that all of the used 645 lenses out there are sort of a
competition for Pentax's NEW lens sales (which are the only ones that
make Pentax/Ricoh money). So making more uses for those used 645
lenses (beyond the 645D and 645Z) is a smart move. In fact, anything
that moves the used lens price market closer to the new lens prices is
a WIN for Ricoh/Pentax.

Disappointed that the FF is a 36MP sensor (if true). That puts Pentax
back to the D800/D800E introduction (which was QUITE a while ago).

"Diffraction Correction" is interesting. Anyone have any ideas on that one?

"3 layers composition" seems to be an evolutionary move from the
"pixel-shift resolution" of the K-3II (which takes 4 exposures). Not
clear if they have lowered the number of exposures to 3 (R, G, B) now,
or are still taking 4 exposures but combining the two green exposures
into one. Should be interesting.

"5-axis shake reduction" should be the same as used in the K-3 II,
correct? (Albeit with a larger sensor)

".78x" finder" seems like selling a shortcoming as a positive. That's
a terrible difference between what you see in the finder and what you
are actually capturing, isn't it???

Most interesting is the "Super FF size composit" (with 645 lenses).
This seems to be using the SR system to shift outside of the normal FF
image circle to take advantage of the 645 image circle and stitch
together a "super FF" image size. Like the "super-pixel resolution"
this may not be useful/practical on all subject types, but is an
interesting industry first, nonetheless.

Some very innovative stuff combined with some questionable stuff,
IMHO. What say you?
