Sadly, you are right...
One of two remaining photo stores in Houston closed earlier this year:

It was a nice store with nice people working in it.
I don't know what happened. From what I heard, they were going to move to a diferent location, but then the owner started selling the remaining stock over the phone. (I learned about it only a few weeks ago, about half a year after it closed.)

That's right! A brick-and-mortar camera shop advertising Pentax and Ricoh; =and= with the K-S2, K-3, and K-3II on display, along with at least a dozen lenses.
