De-Lurking for a minute. The Pentax 16-50 f:\2.8 is a great lens --
until it breaks. I have replaced Three, Count-em, Three SDM motors, and
am going to have to send it off four number four -- or Five, if you
count the original motor. I have already purchased the Tamron equiv --
as a back-up -- not quite as sharp to my old peepers --but it works. I
know. Keep my mouth shut. Re-Lurking.
