It is an interesting idea, Larry (for a couple of reasons).
a) Samyang would probably jump at the chance to be further
"legitimized" by a camera brand.
b) If I'm not mistaken, Samyang lenses are manual focus only. For
Pentax to put their name on a "new" manual focus lens would be
groundbreaking.
I would imagine that the potential problems would be that Samyang
would be nervous about opening their komono to Pentax. Similarly,
Pentax might not be wild about opening the komono on their weather
sealing to a low-cost competitor like Samyang. These problems are
probably exacerbated by the fact that Samyang is Korean and Ricoh is
Japanese.

I wonder how much tooling and bulking up the Limiteds would need to be
manufactured in WR? Right now, I believe they can go into production
with the same process as before, except for the new coatings.
