I figured out my other problem, I didn't want to use data explorer I wanted to use JF's Metadata viewer.

Try ExifTool? Or ExifTool GUI. But it seems odd if the Shutter Count
website can't list it.

For my K-5, Shutter Count is listed under the 'Maker' section in
ExifTool GUI.
