I have a focal-plane shutter tester app that uses the sound of the shutter 
curtains to determine when the first and second curtains land, using that plus 
the size of the format to calculate effective exposure time. It seems pretty 
accurate. 

I haven't used it in some time, I wonder if it runs properly on the latest iOS?
