Here's a test I'd like to see: Comparing the DA 40/2.8 with the old
M40/2.8 on the K-1. I'd bet that they perform almost identically and
what's really changed is our idea of what is an acceptable amount of
light fallof in the corners at wide apertures.
I might be able to arrange that, what with having both lenses. Hopefully
I d my old 40mm. I haven't seen it for several years.
