Sorry for the late response to this - I've been out of town. Take the m.o. (if you still have it) to a U.S. Post Office. There is no absolutely no charge to cash Canadian Postal Money Orders at any U.S. Post Office. On the other hand, from what I have heard, many American banks will charge a fee. I found this information out the hard way.
