I used back then my D2H and 70-200 f2.8. I set iso around 1250 or so, and did a custom WB on the ice. I tried to find an area for that that was most of the ice surface. I shot around F3.5 and my shutter speeds were in the 125 range. I did a lot of panning until the skater reached the net area then i could single focus. Used the WB tool to get something close to actual colour.
