I just got myself the light magenta for $5.00 on ebay... interestingly -
the outdated (2013) ink was lsited as BIN or Best offer - withtheBIN
being $18 (!)
I offered $5.00 - and noted to the seller that I assumed the $18 was a
typo and that they meant to type $10 or $8 , since brand new cartridges
weresometimes only $17 often... with a note how often I'd typo'ed
similarly - they grabbed my $5.00 right away... .
So I'm all set - I wouldn't use the refilled ones either, P.J.

Well sadly I have used refilled cartridges in a couple of my HP
printers, and the results were disappointing. The inks tended to leak,
and clog much more than the HP inks. That said some people claim to
have had very good results with them, and that a lot of the inks
especially for Japanese manufactures are quite likely to be Identical
to OEM inks.

Ann,
I am not sure if this would be a reasonable solution or not, but just
in case:
There is a 3rd party cartridge sold on amazon for $6.89 (With free
shipping):

I have no idea about it's quality and reliability, but if you are
desperate, maybe it's worth a try? I've never used refilled
cartridges for my Epson R2880.
Good luck!

Epson Inkjet Cartridge Light Magenta T059620 (for R2400)
I lost out on a $5.50 buy on ebay - I've been having perfectly good
results with out of date Epson inks but at the moment I can't
find a light Magenta - would like not to have to pay retail for it If
you come across one IRL or see one on line a heads up would be
appreciated
as of a few minutes ago it was no go.
anything up to $10.00
thanks!
