A little experiment over lunch today.

Picked them up at an estate sale. Looked like a fun still life project.

I like snow for a background.

The sun was diffused by some high clouds so the reflection wasn't too harsh.
If I still had it, a diffusion panel just behind me would have been useful
to soften further the shadow line.
But this still works.

Next time I'll lower my shooting angle. Just a little.
Wishing I had a longer fixed f/l. 100mm, 120mm, or 150mm would have worked
well.
Maybe the 28-105 as it does ok with close objects.

Critiques always welcome.
