A little experiment over lunch today. https://www.flickr.com/photos/55001392@N08/31632153481/ K5, F50/1.7 @ f/4.5 Picked them up at an estate sale. Looked like a fun still life project.
I like snow for a background. The sun was diffused by some high clouds so the reflection wasn't too harsh. If I still had it, a diffusion panel just behind me would have been useful to soften further the shadow line. But this still works. Next time I'll lower my shooting angle. Just a little. Wishing I had a longer fixed f/l. 100mm, 120mm, or 150mm would have worked well. Maybe the 28-105 as it does ok with close objects. Critiques always welcome. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
