I posted a gallery of the pool night photos, primarily for the folks who play. 
But some might find it interesting in regard to the performance of the K-1 and 
the D FA 24-70. Almost all were shot at f4, 1/60th, TA exposure mode. Because 
lighting is so uneven in the pool hall, ISO range from 6400 to about 40,000. 
Focus wasn’t a problem except when shooting low contrast people in near total 
darkness. I used single point focus. On those really challenging shots in the 
dark corners I found that by picking out a high contrast element, I could get a 
lock on even the dimmest subjects. Not bad. By far the best results yet for 
this event, at least in terms of camera and lens performance. I’ve shot it with 
four or five different Pentax DSLRs in the past.
